Located in Jiu Valley, it is a 2.5h drive from Sibiu Airport and 3h drive from Timișoara or Cluj-Napoca
airports.

At ACASĂ you are surrounded by Vâlcan Mountains, Retezat and Parâng Mountains (yes, that is a lot of
mountains). Located on the road that leads from Lupeni to Straja Ski Resort, a few minutes from the
base of the
Main Ski Lift.

Mountains, forests, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, sledging, mountain biking, scuba diving,

days: TV & Netflix, board games, fireplace. When the sky clears up you can put on a BBQ, light

Free parking is available on location, 200m from the cabin. From there, in the winter, the road may

Your hosts, Nicoleta & Marci
Acasă is about slowing down, tranquility, and reconnecting with nature.
After living and working abroad for 20 years, Marci returned to his homeland and, having met Nicoleta,
together they set the groundwork for this deeply personal project. Nicoleta wanted to get creative with
interior design while Marci wanted to apply his hands-on experience in construction to something
meaningful. And so the two A-frame cabins were born, built with their own hands, each with its own
personality.
Despite Jiu Valley’s tumultuous history revolving around coal mining, for Nicoleta and Marci, it is also
an area of outstanding natural beauty waiting to be discovered.
We wish to be able to share the peacefulness of this
place, our grandparents’ customs and recipes, as well as our joy for the simple things in life with our
