The Nordic Cabin is part of a group of A-frame cabins situated at the foot of Straja Ski Resort very close to the ski lift.
You can relax in your very own sauna after skiing, with mulled wine next to the fireplace or enjoy a campfire while admiring the mountain view.
A neutral colour palette, soft blankets and plenty of natural light. Eclectic and delightful, Nordic Cabin will make you feel at home. Put on a cosy sweater, whip up a delicious snack and gather around the fire with a hot chocolate.
We look forward to welcoming you into our cosy cabin with homemade deserts and are here to help with plenty of tips to make the most of the surrounding nature.
THE SPACE
Ground level:
- bright living room with a sofa bed, 6 person dining table, pellets fireplace, TV

LOCATION AND ACCESS
Acasă Straja is located on the road that leads from Lupeni to Straja Ski Resort, a few minutes from the base of the Main Ski Lift. Located in Jiu Valley, it is a 2.5h drive from Sibiu Airport and 3h drive from Timișoara or Cluj-Napoca airports.
Free parking is available on location, 200m from the cabin. From there, during the winter, the road may not be in very good condition, however we will provide 4x4 transport for the short journey down.
OTHER INFO
One sauna session (max 1h) per day is included in the price of your stay. For extra sessions, there will be an additional cost of 150 RON per session.
The hot tub is NOT included in the price of your stay, and is subject to an additional cost of 350 RON/day.
You cannot book individual rooms, only the entire cabin, and there is a minimum booking period of 2 nights.

Gașcă prieteni
De vis! Visul acela frumos din care pare că nu ai mai vrea să revii la realitate. Locație superbă, totul aranjat cu mult bun gust, gazde minunate care îți dau bucuria omeniei pe pământ. Recunoscători ❤️
Casa de vis
Am stat 3 nopti la Casa Nordic, care este o splendoare. Este o căsuța extrem de primitoare, cozy, iar lumânările, atmosfera si atenția cu care este decorată casa te fac sa te simți chiar ca acasa. Iar dacă mai era nevoie de ceva, jacuzzi-ul si sauna private sunt cireasa de pe tort. Gazdele sunt extrem de primitoare, gata oricând sa ajute cu orice, i-am simțit mai mult ca pe niște prieteni. Cand am ajuns ne așteptau pe masa un platou traditional, vin si clatite, mult mai mult decât este necesar pentru un sejur minunat. O sa ne întoarcem cu siguranța si recomand tuturor acest loc, multumim.

România, 2022. Se poate! Locație minunata, in mijlocul naturii, cu surprize pregătite de Nicoleta(mentionez doar platoul cu brânzeturi ca sa va bucurati de restul la destinatie). Casa este ca "Acasa", asa cum ii este si numele,bunul gust ce se observa in simplitate, calitate si căldura date de amenajări, atentia la detalii. Sauna inclusa in preț (pe care noi nu am folosit-o din motive de sanatate) si jacuzzi-ul sunt ceva ce gasesti cu greu la o asemenea casă de oaspeți, deci inca un plus. Gazdele foarte dragute ca ne-au primit cu cainele din dotare(destul de galagios in afara casei si protector), deci inca un plus. Speram sa revenim, felicitari pentru atentia la nevoile oaspeților si dorinta de a ajuta, de a nu lipsi nimic! Multumim! Fiul meu isi doreste o casa la fel! ❤

Foarte frumos! Mai mergem.
Locatia a fost extraordinara, 200-300m de telegondola si o priveliste ca-n povesti! Gazdele au fost de nota 10, ne-au asteptat cu mici cadouri, clatite calde, tuica, dulceata…ne-au facut si cumparaturile din oras cand am ramas fara mancare 😅 Cabana foarte frumoasa, am fost 6 adulti si 4 copilasi…spatiul a fost suficient.
Cea mai faina cazare in Straja
Este cea mai faina cazare la care am stat pana acum in Straja. Gazdele sunt foarte calduroase (am avut parte de o mica surpriza la sosire) si de mare ajutor cu orice lucru. Cabana este inconjurata de natura, dotata cu tot ce ai nevoie, aproape de telegondola, iar sauna privata face experienta de dupa o zi de ski sa fie super smechera 😍 Se vede ca fac o treaba foarte buna pentru confortul oaspetilor!
